Okay I do know why Die hard comes up because it happens at a Christmas party,. The others? Well I don't have a clue really. I like the Christmas movies, not the grinch remake or polar express though. I prefer ones like Wonderful Life, One Magic Christmas, oh and the Bishops Wife (the old versions B&W, not the newer ones), and of course A Christmas Carol (only the version with Alistair Sims B&W). I find most just syrupy and such for me. Although I still laugh at Christmas Story.
I would agree with all of the above, except I won't, cause I don't want to stroke your ego ha ha.. I don't care for many of them, aside from Polar Express... and it's one of my favorite movies of all times!!
in gremlins and die hard it was Christmas time in the movie. i don't know about little shop of horrors.
i'm with you on the rest, except for charlie brown - i love all the charlie brown specials!!!
Blasphemy! That's it. No more Mom and daughter-thingie for us! (starting right after the Christmas gifts are delivered that you sent). I'm going to go eat a bunch of peanut butter cookies and try to forget what I just read. How you sprang from my loins, I'll never know!

I hate Polar Express and I haven't even watched the whole thing; I can't make it through the whole thing.
I like the Grinch, because I think Dr. Suess was on LSD... and all his stuff is out there, but the other ones you mentioned I can't stand either.
I like the old standards... my favorite movie in the whole world is "It's a Wonderful Life".

Annissa Rae at A Page In My Book gave you high praise and accolades in a post today, so I simply had to drop by, snoop around, and say HI! I'm totally with you on all but one of those classics. The Polar Express animation completely creeps me out. Charlie Brown is terribly depressing. Grab the kleenex and pop a few Zoloft before watching. But, Rudolph in 70s stop-animation ... I'm charmed beyond belief. Of course, he doesn't hold a candle to the Heat Miser, but still... an Elf named Hermie that wants to be a dentist? Gotta love it!
I'm sorry but I bloody love the crappy awful christmas movies like Christmas Vacation and Christmas with the Kranks, which BTW I just rented for one dollar to watch. Sad and pathetic really.
I remember loving Rudolph but the last few times I've seen it, I find myself so annoyed by all the yelling they do, that I turn it off.
I love the grinch though! The cartoon is better, but the other one isn't too bad. But I'm a Suess fan!
