Hippie

I know some of you live by the "no haircut until 1" rule for kids but you aren't married to Mr. Air Force Hair. As soon as the boys' hair touches the top of their ears daddy starts calling them hippie and pushing for a haircut. Aidan's hair was a huge mass of blonde curls and in my opinion it just got cuter the bigger it got. In the end Aidan got a haircut before his first birthday and I was devastated. I thought he looked like a cancer patient, Daddy was thrilled. Asher doesn't have the same curly hair, just some adorable waves in the back, and Daddy was yelling hippie already. I relented easier since I knew the change wouldn't break my heart this time. Asher got his first haircut yesterday afternoon and he looks so freaking cute! As Aidan was the first time, Asher was perfectly behaved (for the sole purpose of letting me document the event, I'm sure). See...
